That's what everyone asks. I answer that question. The University of Iowa is a Big Ten school with a small-town feel. You'll find Big Ten champions across campus. You'll find the top public writing program in the country. You'll find the best teaching hospital in Iowa with multiple programs in the top ten in the country. But most importantly, you'll find yourself. That is the story I tell each day.
Where GOATs Are Made Campaign
Introduced for spring 2023 yield materials, I proposed the "Where GOATs are made" campaign featured in print, social, and email. Prompted by the unmatched talent of Caitlin Clark, this campaign grew throughout the NCAA tournament. In addition to providing copy for the print campaign, I created all social graphics. Email Marketing
As the Iowa voice has grown and developed, I have written copy to reflect a playful and engaging tone. My intention is to be relatable without crossing into cringe territory. This has resulted in tremendous open rate growth, from 29% (2020) to 48% (2023). Our yield campaign has seen the highest rate of success, with the 2024 campaign achieving a 76% overall open rate.

Working with the University of Iowa's Office of Strategic Communication, numerous print pieces are created varying from handouts to mailers.
I have provided copy and content direction for a number of admissions pieces.
